Call-Me-Kevin the New Champ

The New Champ!

More Better Fighto Commentary

The shocking conclusion to last week's More Better Fighto Big Battel has turned the Kaiju world on it's monster ear. The sudden transformation of Call-Me-Kevin from winless Kaiju laughingstock to Championship Belt holder has been dramatic. Already the endorsement deals, including an exclusive modelling contract for Gap Undersea Monsters, are pouring in, and Kevin is finding himself awash in the bounties of Kaiju success - money, women, 54" plasma TV's - even though they won't last long when submerged in Kevin's undersea home.

If you weren't able to make it to Brooklyn for this monumental Big Battel event, please check out the new More Better Fighto Battel Commentary, including a detailed recap of each matchup, plus full-color photos by ace Kaiju photog Ariele Hertzoff. Also included in this commentary is a link to video evidence of the most horrific death in Kaiju Big Battel ever!

More Better Fighto Contest

Nobody likes complicated rules, and who can blame them? That's why the Commissioner has insisted that Kaiju Big Battel keep this contest as straightforward as possible. All you've got to do is submit photos from or drawings inspired by the More Better Fighto Battel event in Brooklyn. One talented fan will receive a limited edition More Better Fighto t-shirt and a prize pack courtesy of Rockstar Games! Submissions must be sent to contest@kaiju.com by November 26, 2007.

Keeping the Monsters Clean

The Hero Intern was victorious Friday night at the Warsaw, defeating Dr. Cube's latest mutant, Tucor, in front of a sold out crowd. The match up the Intern's final Hero exam, but before being promoted to a genuine Hero, he had one more daunting task - the drug test. Kaiju proudly enforces a very strict wellness policy and every last creature on the Big Battel roster is required to provide the Kaiju Commissioner with multiple samples randomly throughout each year. The samples are then shipped the Kaiju Regulatory Commission's Substance Control Facility where they are tested for performance enhancements, recreational drugs, and bootlegged Royal Jelly. Beyond a clean bill of health, there are no rewards for the monsters that pass the test. However, those who fail are punished. Who could forget the time that Shrooma Tango was forced to sit out of the Shpadoinkel Mania XVIII event for suspicious, hallucinogenic growths on his bark?
