SDS-1 Puts a Time Slip over Avalon Boston

SDS-1 Warps Avalon Boston Back in Time!

Last week we reported that Uchu Chu the Space Bug had kidnapped Cube's Super Dimensional Slug (SDS-1) in apparent retribution for Cube's own snatching of the baby Sky Deviler at Shpadoinkel Mania XVIII. Uchu however had much grander aims than a simple tit-for-tat. According to a report in today's Time Manipulation Times, the swarthy space insect has used SDS-1 to tear apart the fabric of the universe and plunge the Avalon Boston into an inter-dimensional time slip. The time slip has shunted the Avalon Boston (site of the upcoming Kaiju Battel: The TV Pilot back to September of 2006, before Sphadoinkel Mania XVIII, effectively erasing the kidnapping of Baby Sky Deviler from the space-time continuum.

It is unclear exactly how long the time slip will remain in place, but a team of timologists from C.A.S.I.O. (Chronaton Anomaly Surveillance and Inspection Organization) has reported that the time slip is extremely unstable. A look at Avalon's schedule shows a two-night stand by the Pogues in March, fueling speculation that the time slip is growing and will soon reach all the way back to 1989!

Hot on the heels of the Kaiju Big Battel: The TV Pilot announcement comes more exciting TV news for Kaiju Hero fans: The third season of The Neo Teppen Show will kick off on February 21st! Sentai Jin will be Neo's guest star and partner in crime fighting in the season's first episode. In a brave move, the Neo Teppen Show will now enjoy a prime time viewing spot opposite Fox's 24. Industry insiders say Jack Bauer doesn't stand a chance against Neo Teppen's 27 secret powers or his awesome show.

For those of you who have been living under a rock in a Dino Kang Cave, the Neo Teppen Show Season Two enjoyed unprecedented success in both Japan and the UK in 2006. Season Two highlights included Teppen transforming a Kaiju blimp into a Kaiju submarine while fighting off an evil Posse of Super Minions led by Super Minion #96, amongst other incredibly brave, daring acts by Kaiju's most beloved crime-fighting Hero. Neo Teppen is expected to make a special appearance at the upcoming Big Battel on February 21st to promote The Neo Teppen Show.

In the meantime, the Kaiju Commissioner has dispatched Teppen to the outer reaches of the solar system to track down SDS-1 and determine the stability of the Avalon Boston time-slip.

I can not guarantee you a spot in the Kaiju TV pilot, but I can tell you how to greatly increase your chances.

Firstly, buy a ticket at any ticketmaster location, or ticketmaster.com.

Second, arrive early enough to get a ring-side spot in the Danger Zone.

Lastly, you might want to consider making a clever sign in that the camera crew will more likely zoom in on you and your sign.

Hello Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder

New Kaiju Hero Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder was unveiled this week as part of a new 50 State Plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico Initiative to give each state its own Kaiju protector. So far Hawaii has Tadd Bradley Hawaiian Paddler, Maine has Grok Lobster, and Colorado has Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder. Colorado was rushed their protector before other high need states thanks to an urgent request from incoming Gov. Bill Ritter.

According to documents obtained by kaiju.com, Ritter claims that certain "foreign elements" threatened him after the unveiling of his inauguration dinner menu, featuring beef wellington, corn beef and cabbage, chicken kung-pow, nigiri, and kielbasa burritos. When prompted for the identity of the culinary culprits, Ritter had no comment.

Soup Not Psyched to Leave Japan

Current Kaiju champion (pre- and post-time slip) Kung-Fu Chicken Noodle has been studying abroad in Japan for the last 3 months. Under the tutelage of his mentor Mr. Wong, the brutal Noodle has been hard at work adding karate to his arsenal of martial arts. Soup has also found a new passion during his off time - DDR. Yes the most feared Rogue in the Big Battel has become an ace Dance Dance Revolution. In fact, Soup's fancy footwork has earned him a spot in the regional semi-finals of the provincial DDR Tournament! There's just one problem. The tournament goes down on February 21st - the same day as Kaiju Big Battel: The TV Pilot. Soup has gone on record that he will not be in Boston for the Battel, as his DDR-related commitment was made first and to break it would be dishonorable.
