West Coast Battels Announced!

The Kaiju Commissioner is pleased to announce the next two Kaiju Big Battel live events, this November in California! In back-to-back Battel action, Kaiju crushes San Francisco on November 19th, then flattens Los Angeles on November 20th. See ticketmaster.com for ticketing information for the San Francisco Battel at the Grand Ballroom and the LA Battel at the Mayan Theater.

"It's been a long time since Kaiju Big Battel has come to the magical land of California," said the Kaiju Commissioner in a statement. "I think the east coast needs a little time to recuperate. There's plenty of fresh cityscape in LA and San Francisco for our heroes to protect."

No matches have been announced yet, but the Commissioner is sure at least five combinations of monsters will have enough grievances with each other in the span of the next month and a half. Stay tuned to Kaiju.com as more news develops!

Cube Back in the Saddle Again

It wasn't but only a few months ago when nothing was going right for Dr. Cube. His newest monster, Tucor, seemed incapable of winning a match, while his most powerful beast, The Grudyin, lost out on a chance for the Kaiju Championship due to dumb luck. Hell Monkey was missing, his newest brainwashed pet Silver Potato was kidnapped by the Iron Bros and eaten by Zombie Pablo, his plan to steal Hero Intern 08's guitar was foiled, and worst of all, he was constantly passed over for title shots!

But the events in Brooklyn last month have signaled a big turnaround for the Bad Doctor, and things aren't looking very good if you're a fan of the Kaiju Heroes. The Grudyin and Tucor, winners of the Double Danger Tag Tandem Titles through a fluke, proved their doubters wrong with a convincing win over Super Wrong and Dusto Bunny and critically wounding Jeremiah the Pink Teddy Bear. And perhaps more importantly, the new unholy alliance of Dr. Cube and human professional wrestler Chris Hero looks to dominate Kaiju Big Battel for the forseeable future!

Though some Kaiju experts predicted the massive egos of Cube and Hero wouldn't be able to coexist in the same ring, the two appeared to be very much on the same page throughout their thorough drubbing of American Beetle and Hero Intern '08. Now, with the Kaiju Championship almost certainly in their sights, the question now is who gets the shot in California first? Check back with Kaiju.com for more updates!

Call-Me-Kevin Hires Private Eye

After being embarrassed once again by his former teammates earlier this month in Brooklyn, Call-Me-Kevin has hired a private investigator to dig up embarrassing dirt on the remaining Sea Amigos. Kevin, who was last seen masquerading as "Call-Me-Thurston"; a charming gentleman of much class and dignity, hopes to find some incriminating gossip that he can use against Unibouzu and D.W. Cycloptopuss III. But the remaining Amigos aren't exactly shaking in their boots at the news.

"I'm no legal expert, but I'm pretty sure you can't blackmail someone after announcing to the world that you're hiring someone to do just that" said Unibouzu when reached for comment. "Its too bad we had to kick him out of the group; we have a great legal team, as well as a good publicity firm that doesn't, you know, blow secret plans by announcing them to the public."

When asked about the search for a new Amigo, Uni was a little less open. "When we find someone, we'll find someone. That's all I have to say on the matter." Rumors that Dino Kang Jr. is under consideration are, at this time, completely unfounded, although potentially awesome.

Jeremiah Fading Fast, Needs Help

Jeremiah the Pink Teddy Bear, who was ruthlessly maimed beyond recognition last month in Brooklyn, has been downgraded to grave condition as doctors still scratch their heads over how the brave bear has even lasted this long.

One scientist, however, has made a potentially life-saving discovery in regards to the fallen Yokosuke Jump Squad member. Dr. Frotz Van Errik of Germany noted that, in the last few weeks of observation, the strength of Jeremiah's life signs has been proportional to the sales of merchandise from the Kaiju Mall!
