Danger Strikes Back with the return of the Danger Cage! The caged combat is set to go down at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, March 29th. This all ages event is Kaiju's only scheduled New England area performance this spring. Buy your tickets in advance to ensure your place at this epic night of live monster mayhem.

A New Approach

Ever since Call-Me-Kevin won the Kaiju Championship Belt, his aquatic teammates, D.W. Cycloptopuss III and Unibouzu, have shared in his monumental misfortune. The damp duo has racked up a string of setbacks over the past few months, a trend they are looking to end at Danger Strikes Back. To show they mean business, Cycloptopuss has issued an open challenge to any Kaiju Hero, much like Unibouzu did for the New York Blackout Battel. However, the clam-scented scrapper has decided to take a different approach while preparing for his challenger. D.W. will be exercising his mind, rather than his body, for the fighto, confident that he will be able to outwit any Hero who takes him up on his challenge.

Letting Off Steam

Steam-Powered Tentacle Boulder demanded the following message be posted on Kaiju.com in regards to his upcoming fighto with fellow Hero Sun Buster at Danger Strikes Back:

"Sun Bustah, kid, you done screwed up is what you did. I been sayin' since day one I want that belt. Now you gone and got that static sucka involved because you a Rainbow Munch Supreme. I guess that whoopin' you got at Blackout wasn't enough to teach you to quit your jibbajabberin'. The Steam Powered Tentacle Takeovah Tour is gonna be makin' its next stop on your face!"

Cube Out

In a recent interview with southcoast247.com, Dr. Cube stated that he would not be attending Danger Strikes Back because he would not be caught dead in a miserable city like Providence, RI. The Kaiju Commissioner has dismissed Cube's announcement as disinformation, however, and has issued a warning for all Heroes to be on the lookout for suspicious Posse activity at the upcoming Battel.

Kaiju will be making several appearances at the Comicopia booth at the upcoming Anime Boston convention on March 21-23. Be sure to stop by the Comicopia booth for the complete schedule of appearances. If you play your cards right you can have Dr. Cube insult you and sign your official bootleg DVD of Kaiju's famed Anime Boston Battel.

HI'08

The submissions have been reviewed, the votes have been cast, and the results have been tallied. Now the Kaiju Regulatory Commission is ready to introduce the newest Kaiju Hero-To-Be, Hero Intern '08! However, with Danger levels rivaling an all-time high, the KRC has opted to keep the rookie's identity a secret. It is currently unknown which Kaiju Hero will oversee the tenderfoot's training as past neophyte mentors Neo Teppen and American Beetle are wrapped up with the DDT Titles, but the Kaiju Regulatory Commission insists that the latest intern has a strong work ethic, a natural athletic ability, and an award winning personality.

Louden is a Knitting Master

Ace Kaiju announcer Louden Noxious is hosting a night of music and fun at the Knitting Factory - Tap Bar on Tuesday March 25th. Presented by Karaterice & Japanfiles, the night will feature music by Poison Ivy League (featuring Louden himself!), Tokyo Pinsalocks (electro pop sensations from Japan), and Sakura Madams (Super Funky rock n roll). Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8. Admission to this all ages event is $10, with free goodies and $4 Sapporo!
